Real Estate Photography - Twilight Shoots
Twilight photography is the modern method being used to capture
the true warmth and beauty of a home. We have all the necessary
equipment to photograph properties in the twilight hours or early in
the morning.
Twilight photography generally takes a little over an
hour to set up and photograph. Twilight photos are definitely a
great way to catch the eye of a potential buyer.
The best time for twilight shots depends on the time of the year, generally there is a 20 minute window of opportunity right after the sun disappears below the horizon.
When we photograph the externals of the home we use extra lighting to illuminate the front of the home while also detailing features such as plants or fixtures.
Our twilight photos are always considered as a "prestige" shoot and can work really well on a home that is in the upper end of the market. However a twilight shoot can also be effective on a home that is aesthetically challenging during the day.
Buyers are attracted to photos of homes shot in the twilight hours because as humans we have a primal instinct to look for a warm fire or cave as the sun goes down, Hence the psychology behind it can help attract more buyers to your vendors home.
